Vegaster 7 – 7 of the Hottest NIGHTClubs on the Strip
Admittedly, when first reading the self description of being a “distinct venue cut and polished to perfection” the stomach turned a little. But once you get to experience Jewel for yourself, you get the point. Jewel is all about the people, and making sure they are having a great time. The Hakkasan Group nailed it, by paying close attention to the way the music sounds and how the layout works. This is not just a club that you go to be seen at, Jewel is a club where you go to celebrate life.
The Bellagio’s Hyde is all about swank. They may not have the big name DJ’s and state of the art light and sound system, but they do have the Bellagio right outside the terrace, giving off its own light and sound show. The dance floors are small, and the music not too loud, making this an ideal club to hit-up when you actually want to talk to people. With plush couches and chairs forming intimate VIP spots, Hyde is perfect for hiding out and getting to know someone.
The Cromwell may be considered a small boutique hotel by Vegas standards, but its rooftop nightclub scene is partying large. Both an indoor and outdoor venue (so long as it’s warm) Drais has put all of its efforts into being a decadent place to chill, with raving success. This unique space, sporting hot pink furnishings and palm trees, is also used for Drais Beach Club, another welcome addition to Vegas pool party season.
There is good reason why XS at the Wynn wins best club in America year after year. Yes, it is definitely sexy, dripping in gold with curves all over, but XS is also a Vegas nightclub that puts a lot of focus on its music. This is where world renowned DJ’s like Kaskade and Avicii reside, creating a party that spills outside to the Encore pool. Take in the night view from a luxury outdoor cabana, or go VIP right next to the dance floor. This is the time when you want to go excessive.
The legendary Marquee at the Cosmopolitan is a maze of amazing spaces you want to get lost in. The main room is as glamorous as the hotel, overflowing with partiers stationed at high class VIP tables, or showing off on the expansive dance floor. It that’s too much club for you take a break inside the Boombox, a throwback to the ‘80’s with its own set of VIP tables and an open air balcony. When you do meet the one night stand of your dreams, take them over to the Library, an intimate space off of the main room that encourages drinks and conversation with its cozy seating and quiet atmosphere. The Marquee is not a stop before moving on to somewhere else. Everything you could possibly want is right there waiting for you.
The Hakkasan group is starting to monopolize the Vegas club scene, and this just may be a good thing. Not only do they have their thumbs on some of the biggest names in EDM – Calvin and Afrojack just to name a couple – they have opened Omnia where Pure used to be. This newest club on the block perfectly combines a full scale nightclub with an alluring lounge appeal for those looking for something more chill. Omnia is definitely one more bucket you need to add to that Vegas list.
One of the Vegaster strip staples for Nightlife, (the Wynn Group) Intrigue has more than gracefully intrigued us, Being inside of Intrigue Nightclub feels secretive, and a bit naught, and the perfect place for a Vegas rendezvous. Maybe it’s the sultry décor, or the waterfall feeding into the indoor lagoon, or a crowd that bumps and grinds as one to the thumping beat of the DJ, or the super secret club in the club. Yeah, it's true, no phones, no pictures, nothing but privacy. There is just something about spending time at Intrigue that makes you feel like having keeping all the dirty secrets to yourself.
