The Vegaster 7: Best Bars When You Just want to party
Diablo’s Cantina – Nightclub, Restaurant, hell on earth. Call Diablo’s what you will, but there is no escaping the party going on inside. The set-up is perfect; lot’s of tequila, spicy food, and a bar that you can walk right into from the strip. The party starts downstairs in a large bar area, and then raises the heat as you head upstairs where a live DJ takes over the outdoor patio. When you feel a little drinking devil growing inside you, Diablo’s is the place to quench him.
Señor Frogs’s – Señor Frog’s invites you to unleash your fiesta atop their butt shaped stools (that’s really a thing there). Expect a rowdy crowd when you step inside of this Treasure Island locale, where beer chugging contests are encouraged and losing your inhibitions inevitable. Drawing from its parent bar south of the border, there is a distinct Mexican vibe at Señor Frog’s, and a liquor list full of top rums and tequilas to prove it. If your Vegas party mood is bordering on getting outright silly drunk, Señor Frog’s will help you to get there.
Cabo Wabo Cantina –The energy that Sammy Hagar brings to the stage rains down in buckets on his Las Vegas bar venture. Cabo Wabo manages to pull off a laid back vibe, in a vivacious party atmosphere that will have you feeling like a rock star. Found inside of Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops, the festivities spill out into the open-air patio where you can be found doing shots of Cabo Wabo’s own tequila label. When you’re feeling like it’s time to start speeding past your Vegas limit, stop over at Cabo Wabo’s and break some rules.
Carlos’ n Charlie’s – Carlos’ n Charlie’s is more like an adult entertainment stop than a bar. Sure the drinks are flowing freely, but they are being served by exhibitionist bartenders who have their own unique flair for bringing the party on. Then there are the pranks, which often include whipped cream and balloon hats. The drinks are bigger than Kanye’s ego, making for a crowd that is always a little too happy. Carlos’ n Charlie’s inside of the Flamingo is the party bar to stop at when you want to party like a kid again.
Kahunaville (CLOSED) – When you start getting bored (as if) at Señor Frog’s, or if the girls over there seem to be prettier, take a walk over to Kahunaville. This is Treasure Island’s nod to a Caribbean Bar, and they have the palm trees and coconuts to help take you there. Driving the party at Kahunaville is a unique crew of flair bartenders who actually win trophies and stuff for being able to do stuff like balance glasses of rum on their chins. This makes Kahunaville the party bar you want to stop at when you also want world class entertainment – in a Vegas kind of way.
SO SAD TO SEE KAHUNAVILLE CLOSE! MANY NIGHT WE DON'T REMEMBER!
PBR Rock Bar – All day open bars and beer pong wars – need we say more. PBR Rock Bar in the Miracle Mile Strip didn’t know if it wanted to go country or hit hard with rock ‘n roll, so it went both ways with raving success. Stop by during the day for a few rounds of jenga to go with your rounds of drinks, or dance the night away on their humungous outdoor patio. PBR is the party stop for those who still haven’t figured out what type of partier they are.
Rockhouse – Hard to believe, but the best dive bar in Vegas is found at the super classy Venetian. The atmosphere is rowdy, and the setting gritty, but the party is always on full blast. Try your skills on the bars mechanical bull to get some thrills or show off your stuff at one of the pool tables. This is a drinker’s paradise, with something to keep your other hand busy at every turn. Make Rockhouse your party bar of choice when you want to get down and dirty with class.
No matter what your party mood is, there is a bar in Vegas that has your back. Each of these 7 bars may have their own distinct vibe, but the knack for throwing a rocking party always shines through.
