Location – The SLS Las Vegas is sitting right on top of history, at the north end of the strip where the iconic Sahara used to be.
The Theme – The SLS Vegas is all about high tech gadgetry to grab your attention, starting in the lobby with color changing tiles. Although high tech and high class, this SLS encourages Vegas style monkeying around, hiding playful monkey depictions in curious places all over the hotel. You’ll feel first class, but not in a way that inhibits you having a good time.
Rooms – Another pleasant surprise at the ritzy SLS is the price. Rooms average below $200 and depending on special Vegas events, could even dip below $100. Square foot wise, the cheaper rooms are significantly small, but still exude luxury in their style and amenities.
Restaurants – SLS Las Vegas scoured the globe to find the best chefs and concepts for your dining pleasure. The result is an eclectic blend of unique restaurants, each has their own distinct style but all have meet the highest standards in quality and vibe.
Bazaar Meat – James Beard Award winning chef José Andrés celebrates beef in all your favorite ways. The menu pickings have a quirky edge, which fits right into the overall theme of the hotel.
Katsuya – East meets west in this Japanese style restaurant, featuring a variety of exactingly crafted sushi rolls in unique flavors and texture.
Cleo – Hailed as being one of the most distinctive restaurants on the strip, Cleo robs the Mediterranean traditions of seasonal ingredients, shared plates and impeccable wine pairings.
Umami Burger – It may be hard to believe, but Umami has taken the basic burger to a level that you’ll never be able to fall back from.
800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria – The SLS take on a pizza joint does Italy proud by sticking with tradition and even flour that comes straight out of Naples.
Northside Café – Breakfast at midnight or steak in the morning? No problem. The Northside Café is open around the clock to meet your every dining whim.
The Perq – Your stop for a fresh Danish and unique blend of coffee to dunk it in can be found in between the SLS lobby and casino.
SLS chose their restaurant selections based on impeccable quality and unique taste, attributes that are overwhelmingly apparent in every bite.
Gambling – Getting your gamble on at SLS Vegas is an intimate experience, with an unmistakable sex appeal setting the tone for the table games and slot machines. The sports book is conveniently a part of the outdoor Beer Garden, which is temptingly close to the addictive Umami Burger.
Shows – You won’t find any showgirls here, but you will love the laid back vibe of The Sayers Club. This intimate venue has built a reputation for booking top musical talent that you want to get up close and personal with. The Foundry is making some Vegas waves with some great concerts this season. HellYeah, Flo-Rida and Ted Nugent to name a few.
Clubs and Bars – Quaint drinking holes like the Monkey Bar are meant to give you a head start or a polished finish to your Vegas monkey business. Foxtail is the signature nightclub for SLS Vegas, offering an edgy destination for the daring. The club is laid out to provide an in and outdoor experience which is typically augmented by special celebrity DJ appearances.
The Day Club – The Foxtail Pool is the ideal setting for a beach party, featuring lines of cabanas, couches and daybeds to complete the VIP experience. Space is very limited poolside, so it is best to book your bottle service and private lounging area ahead of time.
Shopping – SLS Vegas calms your shopping craving with its SLS Goods and SLS Hers retail outlets. SLS Goods gives you a wide variety of Vegas souvenirs, gifts and keepsakes, while down at Hers you’ll find trendy clothes and accessories.
Other Cool Stuff – If the season is right, you won’t want to pass up a day on the roof. The hotel’s other pool is LUX, and can be found by taking the elevator behind the salon. This serene scene is accented by soothing music, specialty cocktails and luxurious cabanas and daybeds to soak up the sun in.
Worth the Stay – You definitely feel like you get your money’s worth at the SLS Las Vegas, despite it being a bit from the heart of the strip. The vibe is hip and trendy, with a heavy emphasis on having fun.
