Take a Day and Take a Tour: There’s More to Vegas than Drinking and Gambling.

You can’t spend every day closed inside your hotel room or pool side at a beach club when you come to visit Las Vegas. When you are planning your trip you should set aside at least one day when you step outside the party box to see what else happens in Vegas.  Plan a tour of one of the many attractions that border sin city to get a breath of fresh air and rejuvenate before heading back for another night at the club.

The great thing about booking a tour in Vegas is the number of ways you can do.  There are Helicopter Rides, Pink Jeeps, small planes and even horseback.  Vegaster can help you find the best way for you and your group to see any of these attractions.

Grand Canyon

The north and south rims of the Grand Canyon are only about a five hour drive from the strip, making it a good excuse to book a helicopter trip.  This will cut your travel time to two hours.  You can make a day of it and picnic inside of the canyon or having a walking tour and take in the views. The west rim has recently been added as a tourist destination, cutting the travel time in half for those of us who are in a rush to get back.

You will find a number of companies that provide bus service and helicopter trips to the Grand Canyon that have special options to suit different needs.  Your Vegaster app can help you sort through it all and find the one that works for your group. Vegaster Tip: We have the best of the best!

Red Rock Canyon

You are going to need a rugged tour company to take you into the Nevada desert to explore the cliffs of the Rocky Gap Road.   Geared towards the adventurous types, these tours can be done in jeeps or even on ATV’s.  Just make sure to pack plenty of water and sunscreen.

Hoover Dam

This is one of the most popular destinations as visitors can take a helicopter ride and enjoy a stunning view of the structure from above.  Once inside you are able to see the power plant or explore the dams myriad of passageways.  If you are only planning on doing the Vegas tour thing once in your life, this one should be it.

Area 51

Is it real, is it not real?  The only way we’ll ever know for sure is to get attacked by martians.  Tours to this mysterious part of the Nevada will include views of Indian petrolglyphs.  You may even get intimidated by an Army guard or two.  And they say there’s nothing going on there.

Do you believe?

There is an endless stream of tour companies that can help you get to these destinations, and many more.  Hell, there’s even a strip tour for those of you who never make it outside the hotel.  Choose your destination and when you want to go, and Vegaster can hook you up with the right guys and gals to get you there, even if you want to travel by horse.
