September is Still Sizzling in Las Vegas
The kids may be back in school come September, but it’s still summer in Las Vegas. The pool party scene is still in full swing, the nightclubs smokin’ hot, and unique events bringing in the hordes. This is the perfect time to take a break from your day to day and make that much needed pilgrimage to Vegas.
If you need a better excuse, at least one of these special events will get you packing:
Mr. Olympia at the Las Vegas Convention Center – In conjunction with Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance weekend at the Orleans Arena, the Las Vegas Convention Center is expecting tens of thousands of bodybuilders to weigh down on the city starting on the 18th of September. This is a yearly tradition of competitions being played out by some of the biggest and strongest men and women in the world. A daily pass for either of the two days will set you back thirty bucks, or you can shell out fifty at one shot and check out the various events on both days.
Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – On the same weekend that the muscle guys are in town, there’s a big race at the Motor Speedway. The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series has been speeding around the country and will be making a pit stop in Vegas on the 18th and 19th of September. Off road racing is a dirty, rugged, and exciting sport, bringing in people from all over to show off their natural racing skills.
Barrett Jackson Car Show and Auction at the Mandalay Bay Event Center – The classic car show returns to the Mandalay Bay Event center from September 24 to the 26th. Dozens of collector cars will be on display from all over the country, spanning back for decades. A three day pass bought in advance will run an adult $55 or pay $65 at the gate.
Life is Beautiful Festival Downtown Vegas – For the third year running, Life is Beautiful will be the theme spread out over 11 blocks in downtown Vegas. Not only will Stevie Wonder, Duran Duran and Kendrick Lamar be a part of the 70 acts performing across 4 stages, but creative art will be on display everywhere you turn. Plus in between all the music and art you can dine on culinary delights at celebrity chef pop-ups, or take notes at one of the unique lectures. The event runs from the 25th of September until the 27th, with tickets available right here through Vegaster. Just search Nightclubs & Dayclubs for General Admission, VIP and Exclusive VIP Ticket options. Wanna go VIP Table Style? We have those too!
With a small reprieve from the desert heat, no kids mucking up the swimming pools, and unique shows and events to choose from, September is to Vegas what Spring is to Paris.
