Is Omnia’s Opening Date Keeping You Up All Night?
The opening date for Caesar’s newest nightclub – Omnia – has finally been announced for Thursday, March 12th. Thank goodness as in true Vegas style, everything else about this epic new venue has been kept pretty wrapped up.
What we do know is that the Vegas nightclub, which is a part of the Hakkasan Group, has already secured coveted names in the DJ world to headline. This includes Armin Van Buren, Chuckie, Oliver Heldens, Krewella, Nervo, Nicky Romero and Showtek.
Oh right, and a couple of guys that go by the names AfroJack, Martin Garrix and Calvin Harris, who is set to be the setting the mood for the opening weekend. The rumor mill is a buzz with word that Harris just signed a 3 year contract with the Hakkasan group for 400 G’s a gig. That’s a huge rake in for the 31 year old music master.
Calvin will be in charge on Thursday and Friday, while Martin Garrix will take over tricks on Saturday and then give it up to Chuckie on Sunday. This is going to be a killer 4 day weekend on the strip, just in time to stir things up for pool season.
Omnia is taking up the space that was formerly Pure, and turning it into what looks to be a sinful sensation. The concept is being described as a “lavishly designed space showered with intricate beauty and plush finishes”. Been there and done that a dozen times in Vegas, but not with the largest dance floor on the strip and a sound and lighting system that AfroJack had a hand in designing.
The new nightclub has been completely revamped with VIP booths set up opera house style looking down on the crowd. If that isn’t posh enough for you, head upstairs to the roof, where you can luxuriate in your bottle service while looking down on the whole dang town. The ambiance is set to be electrifying, as the nightclub stakes in Vegas keep getting higher.
Omnia is part of a master plan devised by Hakkasan to bring their brand to cities around the world. With another Omnia set to open in San Diego and plans for Hakkasan to open more resorts with Caesar’s around the globe, these guys seem to be edging towards world dominance over the hospitality industry. If their successes in Vegas are any indication, this won’t be a problem for them.
The bar keeps getting raised in Vegas when it comes to the night life scene. With Hakkasan scooping up a good number of the best DJ’s on the planet, Omnia is going to fast become one of the most sought after spots to sip a drink on the strip.
Pool party season in Vegas starts right around mid March, giving you two reasons to take a break and head out to the desert next month. Or make it a triple play and plan your trip for St. Paddy’s day, which also happens to be the start of March Madness. Green beer, basketball playoffs, bikini ridden pool parties and Omnia, what more could you ask for?
