The Riviera Hotel Lives On in Lights – The Neon Museum in downtown Vegas has acquired the Riviera Sign and now has it on display, fully lit, right behind the Stardust. Make sure to take a quick tour and see for yourself how this iconic sign is doing inside of the Vegas boneyard.
Nicki Minaj Makes Vegas Her Permanent Home – At least a wax form of the pop icon has. The first ever wax reproduction of the “Anaconda” singer made its debut in the music room at Madame Tussauds. Remember that barely covered booty from the video? Yeah, that’s a big part of the display, and as large as you imagined.
Get Your Hot Pizza at HRH – In late July the second Pizza Forte in Vegas opened at the Hard Rock Hotel. Just a few steps from the pool, you can now get a slice from this authentic pizzeria as you soak in some Vegas rays.
New Lounge Coming to the Delano in the Fall – The Delano Boutique Hotel inside the Mandalay will open to the public on September 1st. Closer to winter, world renowned chef Alain Ducasse will open two distinct concepts on the 64th floor. The Rivea will be serving up French and Italian cuisine while the Skyfall Lounge right next door will provide an intimate nightlife experience for the sophisticated at heart.
Edge Steakhouse expands to Las Vegas – Award winning chef Nick Lees has opened the prestigious Edge Steakhouse inside of the Westgate Resort & Casino. This award winning concept was first introduced in Utah in 2012, and has just the tantalizing dishes needed to give the other steakhouses on the strip a run for their A-1 sauce.
Kabuki Debuts at Bellagio –The light show at the Bellagio Fountains will shine brighter for 3 days starting August 14th with the “Fight with a Carp”. This half hour free show will be projected onto a screen set over the fountains, depicting an epic battle scene between man and fish. You can catch this Kabuki debut at 9:15 at night on the 14th, and 9:15 or 11:30 on the 15th and 16th.
The LINQ Hotel is Now Complete - $223 million dollars later, the LINQ Hotel & Casino has finally completed its extensive renovations.
