Celebrate Your Own Independence at a 4th of July Party in Vegas
You really don’t need an excuse to party in Vegas, but when there is one you should always roll with it. The 4th of July is here, and there’s no better place to celebrate independence than in a city built on taking liberties. So put that cover back on the grill, and save your cheesy firecrackers for the kiddies, ‘cause Vegas is ready to get you all kinds of lit for the 4th.
4th of July Pool Parties in Vegas
Pool party season “officially” started back in March, but anyone who knows Vegas knows that the season really doesn’t kick in until the 4th of the July. This is when the big name DJs start making their rounds, packing the pools with party animals from all over the world. Screw the beach and all that sand and splash around at one of these Vegas beach parties on the 4th:
- Wet Republic at MGM Grand– Hosted by Calvin Harris
- Tao Beach at the Venetian – Paris Hilton is scheduled to do a DJ set. (hopefully in a bikini)
- Encore Beach Club at the Encore Resort – Hosted by Zedd
- Foxtail Pool at SLS – Hosted by New World Punx
- Drai’s Beach Club – Hosted by Adventure Club
- Daylight at Mandalay Bay – Hosted by Alesso
Get Ready to Ooh and Ahh
Once the sun sets on your pool party fun, it’s time to kick it into firework gear. With the number of spectaculars being put on up and down and around the strip, you’ll definitely see some sparkle in the sky no matter where you find yourself around 9 o’clock. But if you want them to be raining down on your head you may want in on the Stratosphere’s annual 4th of July pool party. The party starts at 6 PM at 8 Pool, and will feature a live concert by Zowie Bowie before bowing out to a spectacular Grucci fireworks display shot off from the tower.
If you are down on the strip around 9:00pm, you’ll also get a front row seat to the Caesar’s display, also brought to Vegas courtesy of Grucci. If you pool partied at the Mandalay Bay during the day, you might want to stick around for the night. 311 will be hosting a rocking party and ending the set with a dazzling display of fireworks.
You’ll Find Me at the Club on the 4th
Of course all the Vegas night clubs will be on full blast for the holiday, with some of EDM’s best talent to celebrate with. Kaskade will be at XS and Dada Life at Hakkasan. Calvin Harris is two-timing for the 4th, with a nighttime set at the new Omnia. If you’re more into hip hop, Drai’s party is being graced with a special appearance by Chris Brown or you can chill with Lil Wayne over at LiFE. (Rumor is LiFE will be dead after this weekend).
And this is all just on the 4th. Celebrating Independence in Vegas is going to kick off on the 1st, with things really starting to roll by Friday the 3rd. If you want in on the biggest celebration of independence in the nation, you better start packing your bags now.
